Wait For the Lord

Here’s some encouragement from Mike Reeves. “In all this, you well know, we are in the kind hands of our heavenly Father, who has a purpose, meaning that there will be good to be drawn from this. We cannot see all ends now, but one thing is clear: now is a chance to prove to each other, and to the world, that our faith makes a profound difference. In these coming days, let’s fight to ensure that our perspective is shaped
more by Scripture than the news. Don’t allow anxieties to mushroom by
failing to lift your eyes to Christ and his promises, or by failing to throw
these anxieties on him. Work more than ever to fill your perspective with him, and let all see the peace and joy that flow.” Sometimes we find ourselves overcome by circumstances, and we begin to wonder if God sees or cares. When we’re struggling, this text from Isaiah can help us process our doubts. When we’re striving, this text can remind us where we need to look for strength to keep going. At all times, Isaiah points our eyes up.
